Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon, welcomed the Mayor of Dura, Mr. Muhanad Amr, at Taawon's headquarters in Ramallah. The meeting centered on strengthening the partnership between Dura Municipality and Taawon.

Our efforts in Lebanon persist, with over 47,000 hot meals distributed to families in Nahr El-Bared Camp. We continue to support 290 displaced families at the Siblien Institute and UNRWA schools in Wadi Al-Zeina. This initiative is implemented in partnership with the Women’s Program Association, the Social Support Society, and JANA.

Every contribution makes a difference. As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the Palestinian health sector, Taawon handed over two fully equipped ambulances to the Palestinian Ministry of Health on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The handover took place at the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah in the presence of the Minister of Health, Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan, and the Director General of Taawon, Dr. Tareq Emtairah.

1,000 fresh produce parcels and food parcels were distributed to displaced families through Taawon, in partnership with the Beit Lahia Development Association.

Last week, Taawon and the Agricultural Development Association - PARC signed an agreement aimed at enhancing the resilience of 5,382 Palestinians living in rural communities in the West Bank by improving their income by 10% through livelihood interventions and human rights protection. The project also seeks to improve the income of 100 women-headed households in 10 targeted communities. Funded by Danish Muslim Aid, this initiative will strengthen the capacity of Palestinian families living in rural areas to withstand challenges through targeted livelihood interventions.
