About the Gala Dinner
The Annual Taawon Gala Dinner in Doha is held under the patronage of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The event supports the "NOOR" Program, providing comprehensive and long-term care for more than 20,000 orphaned children in Gaza, ensuring access to education, healthcare, protection, and psychosocial support.
Taawon, founded in Geneva in 1983, is one of the largest Palestinian non-profit organizations, investing over $1 billion in development and humanitarian programs in Palestine and refugee communities, focusing on education, culture, and resilience.
The NOOR Program seeks to empower 20,000 orphaned children in Gaza by ensuring access to education, health care, psychological support, and protection until they reach adulthood.
